David Holden

Non-Executive Director

David joined Kittiwake Digital as Non-Executive Director at the very genesis of the company, bringing more than 30 years of international business leadership experience across the downstream oil, energy, aviation and infrastructure sectors. He has operated across 125 countries, delivering strategic growth, operational transformation and commercial expansion for multi-billion-pound organisations.

His connection with Kittiwake Digital’s founder, Duncan Lees, stretches further back still. The two first met on their very first day of infant school and remained close throughout their entire education, all the way through to university. That lifelong friendship laid the foundation for a trusted partnership at the heart of the company’s leadership.

Alongside his role at Kittiwake Digital, David works with Highlands and Islands Airports Limited and Windracers to help deliver a sustainable net-zero regional aviation system for remote communities throughout the Scottish Highlands and Islands. His extensive understanding of Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) ensures Kittiwake Digital remains at the forefront of aerial data capture, analysis and emerging drone technologies.

Jandira Guasque

Director

Jandira is an experienced 3D scanning and photogrammetry specialist, with a track record that includes some of the largest film, television VFX, and architectural projects of recent years. Originally training as an architect in her native Brasil, she brings strong technical and creative 3D skills to every project.

Her artistic sensibility, combined with an in-depth understanding of the latest aerial and terrestrial LiDAR scanning and photogrammetry hardware and software, allows her to deliver high-quality scanning, processing, and modelling solutions across a wide range of sectors. As a qualified VLOS UAV operator, Jandira applies her expertise to complex and challenging environments, with a particular focus on high-precision aerial mapping. She also passes on her skills and experience to the next generation of 3D artists through seminars to post-graduate students.

Kittiwake Digital provides the framework on which Jandira's natural artistic and technical talents are given free-rein to take our projects to the next level. She is the samba beat at the heart of the team.

Director

Duncan's extensive experience across all aspects of 3D has been shaped through leading multi-disciplinary, highly skilled teams. He is one of the most experienced practitioners of terrestrial LiDAR scanning, cyber scanning, close-range laser scanning, and professional photographic services, working today.

He also specialises in communicating many aspects of his work; authoring papers and books, contributing to seminars, teaching at universities, delivering presentations, and appearing on television. Most recently, Duncan contributed to the National Geographic series Lost Cities with Albert Lin, bringing together his expertise in television, archaeology, geomatics, and VFX. In addition, Duncan has played a key role in advancing 3D recording and visualisation within the forensic geomatics sector, introducing new technologies to accident and crime-scene investigation and enhancing the presentation of evidence through modern visualisation techniques.

Kittiwake Digital is his spiritual home, working with like minded colleagues who share his passion for life, his exacting work ethic and the ability to see humour in every demanding situation we face together.
