Poretti Beer

The most recent campaign for Poretti, a beer hailing from Northern Italy near the iconic lakes, might just be the best beer advert we’ve seen in a long time. It also happens to feature what may be the coolest gang of foxes ever committed to screen. The surreal black-and-white campaign features scenes shot around Lago Di Como, highlighting Poretti’s Italian heritage and the picturesque surroundings of its ancestral home.

Alongside our supremely talented friends at Untold Studios, Kittiwake Digital spent many long nights working in Slovenia and Bishop’s Stortford to help bring this project to life for Pablo London, with direction by Jeff Low at Biscuit Filmworks. We were tasked with delivering a number of fully textured 3D assets for the CGI heavy advert, including the classic Riva Aquarama speedboat which gracefully glides, albeit digitally, over Lago Di Como. Additional digital assets created by us included the louche actor who stylishly sips on his beer with his furry friends, various Poretti glasses and beer bottles and a number of other props that were required for the animated and live action interactions during the piece.

Ben Cronin and Jack Harris were our point of contact at Untold Studios and their crystal-clear understanding and communication around the VFX scanning requirements made our job easier and so much more enjoyable.
